Biography
Dr. Srabani Das, completed her Ph.D from the Journalism and Mass Communication department of Burdwan University . Her area of research was M. K. Gandhi and his newspaper. Presently she is appointed as a State Aided College Teacher (Category I) of Journalism and Mass Communication department in Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College. She was appointed as a field researcher of a survey based project named “Examine the portrayal of women in media in India” designed by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi. She has presented research paper in different National and International seminar. She has also wrote various research paper and articles in numerous books and journals.
