IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell is a body established in colleges and universities to ensure continuous improvement in the quality of education and institutional performance. It works under the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. 

 Role of IQAC

1. Quality Enhancement

Promotes a culture of quality in teaching, learning, research, and administration.

2. Planning and Monitoring

Helps in planning academic and administrative activities and monitors their implementation.

3. Preparation for Accreditation

Guides the institution in preparing reports and documents required for NAAC accreditation.

4. Promoting Best Practices

Encourages innovative teaching methods, research activities, and institutional best practices.

5. Stakeholder Participation

Involves teachers, students, alumni, and management in the quality improvement process.

 

Functions of IQAC


1. Develop Quality Benchmarks

Sets standards for academic and administrative activities.

2.Collection and Analysis of Data

Maintains institutional data regarding student performance, research, and infrastructure.

3. Feedback System

Collects feedback from students, teachers, and other stakeholders and uses it for improvement.

4. Documentation

Prepares important reports such as the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for NAAC.

5. Organizing Programs

Conducts seminars, workshops, and training programs for faculty and students.

6. Promoting Research and Innovation

Encourages faculty and students to engage in research and academic development.
