ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

  • The deparment was established in 1968.


  • Course offered - (i) Chemistry Major (ii) Chemistry Minor (iii) Chemistry IDC


  • There are total seven teaching staffs and two non-teaching staffs.


  • There are two classrooms (one ICT enable) and four laboratories (qualitative, quantitative, instrumental, and DBT-Lab) and one store rooms and one preparations laboratory.


  • There are different types of sophisticated instruments like Spectrophotometer, Potentiometer, Conductivitymeter, pH meter, Melting point apparatus, etc.


  • The department has recevied STAR DBT (Govt. of India) project.


  • Many passed out students from this department has well established across india and also pursued higher education from some prestigious institutions.
