ABOUT

  • The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Flagship   Programme   of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
  • NSS was launched in Mahatma Gandhi’s Birth Centenary year in 1969, as a youth service programme.
  • Aimed at developing student's personality through community service.
  • It is the largest student youth movement in the world to establish linkage between campus and community.
