STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Several students are pursuing B.Ed., Master’s and PhD degrees in Geography, GIS & RS, Planning in several colleges, universities, and institutions in India and abroad. A student is now pursuing Master’s in Geography in South Korea as part of the student exchange programme. Another student has passed her Master’s from Japan’s Keio University and now working in Japan as an Environmental Analyst. Some students are now established as entrepreneurs, actors, journalists. Our alumni also consist of planners, as well as rural developmental specialists who are successfully working in various organisations of India. Some of our alumni are now teaching in many reputed schools and government aided colleges of West Bengal. Tania Karmakar has started pursuing Master’s Degree Programme in the department of Geography, at Chonnam National University, South Korea from 2025.

Poulami Sarkar was selected for appointment in clerical cadre in Punjab National Bank.
