Achievements of Research and Development Cell

• The Short Budget Small Project Scheme (SBSPS) is a significant academic initiative undertaken by the Research and Development Cell of Bijoy Krishna Girls' College to cultivate a vibrant research culture among faculty members and researchers. The scheme aims to encourage innovative, interdisciplinary, and socially relevant research by providing modest financial assistance for short-term research projects. Through this initiative, the institution seeks to strengthen research aptitude, enhance academic engagement, and promote the practical application of knowledge across diverse disciplines.

• Under the scheme, faculty members are encouraged to undertake small-scale yet impactful research projects addressing contemporary academic, social, environmental, educational, scientific, and socio-economic issues. The projects are generally designed to be completed within a short duration and are supported through limited institutional grants. Despite the modest budgetary framework, the scheme has successfully facilitated meaningful research outputs and collaborative academic participation.

• The Research and Development Cell carefully evaluates project proposals based on originality, feasibility, relevance, and potential contribution to society and academia. Approved projects receive financial support and are monitored through periodic progress reviews and final report submissions. The initiative also promotes collaborative research by encouraging participation of co-investigators from different disciplines
