1. Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College, Howrah, IQAC, The Department of History, in collaboration with Howrah Pragyan Kendra, organised a Book Launch Programme and Seminar on 17 January 2026.
The programme marked the launch of a book authored by Sandip Bag.
The seminar was enriched by the presence of eminent speakers Dr. Sibendu Manna and Md. Abdulla
The programme witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, and scholars from different backgrounds

Theme: “Intersections of Local History with Heritage and Tourism – Bishnupur”

The wall magazine is the outcome of the sincere hard work, creativity, and dedication of the students of the Department of History. Through this initiative, students not only explored the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bishnupur but also learned the value of teamwork, cooperation, and collaborative effort in bringing a collective project to successful completion.
