Laboratories and Infrastructure
We believe physics is best learned through observation and experimentation. The department houses dedicated 7 undergraduate laboratories tailored to the B.Sc. syllabus:
-
General & Optics Laboratories: Fully equipped for foundational experiments in mechanics, acoustics, thermodynamics, and physical optics.
-
Electrical, Electronics & Solid State Lab: Providing hands-on experience with analog and digital circuits, essential for understanding modern technology.
-
Computational Physics Facility: Recognizing the importance of modern computing in science, we emphasize numerical methods and programming. Students receive practical training in Python to solve complex physics problems, visualize data, and model physical systems.
