- The department has been selected under the prestigious DBT STAR College Scheme, Government of India, aimed at strengthening undergraduate science education. This support has enabled:
Upgradation of laboratory infrastructure
Establishment of two new Laboratory
Introduction of interdisciplinary and hands-on training modules
Organization of workshops, seminars, and training programs
Enhanced student exposure to research-oriented learning
Organized outreach activities
International travel Award -Bright Focus Foundation Award for 5th International Conference of the Trisomy 21 Research Society , held from 5 to 8 June 2024 at Rome, Italy. Dr.Papiya Ghosh receive a travel fellowship from Bright Focus Foundation of 1500$ ( document to be hyperlinked)
